My SanDisk Ultra II 2.0 GB Compact Flash card recently failed after using it for 2+ years. I'm now "negotiating" with SanDisk Customer Service (in India) for replacement. Although it has a lifetime warranty you still have to jump through a bunch of hoops. IMHO I believe SanDisk is hoping you'll finally give up. I have a spare CF card so I'm in no rush and don't mind following though until I obtain a replacement. First card that's ever failed me though (but I have had thumb drives fail).
